Sounds like an add for the mentioned site, which is fine I guess, but would I really want someone to refer me to an engineer when the site doing the referral spells Cusbase, Q-base?

Come on... before you start charging kids $7,500.00 to head over to a local studio you should at least learn a little more about the industry and it's tools.

That should be a good gift for a lot of people. I was looking at hooking up my relative with a trip to RC and see if he can start his career in the music biz. Christmas is the BEST time to give music. It’s memorable. And everyone loves music. Now, the sound of opera in English may be appealing enough that we all buy this up! But if someone wants to really give someone a gift and it has to do with music. How about pointing them to not spending 40-90k on school to do what they really want to do in less time and under 8k? http://www.recordingconnction.com is my gift to anyone truly wanting to get into the music industry.
